Berta Puigdemasa, born in the spring of 1987, is not your typical harpist.
From her classical training across Spain, The Netherlands and France (Conservatori de Barcelona, Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag, Conservatoire National Régional de Paris, École Normale de Musique de Paris and Université Paris Sorbonne), she is continuously searching for innovation in sound, art and culture.
In her performances and recitals, her music habitually merges with other artistic languages such as dance, poetry, video art, theatre and painting.
Berta Puigdemasa does not limit herself to being a concert harpist. She has worked as a conservatory professor and organizes music workshops in preschools, elementary schools, high schools, special education centers, corrective centers, music schools, etc.
With her project La Música és de Tots i Totes! (Music is for Everyone!) she offers performances in public spaces to share the magic of the harp.
She is the director of the Harp International Workshop Horta de Lleida that gathers harpists from all over the world in an agricultural setting once a year, each edition being held in a different season.
A cheerful artist full of energy, she enthusiastically transmits her passion for music gifting the public with interpretations full of character and tenderness.
